Who is this person in the figure?
Robert Bosch
In 1886, Robert Bosch launched his first "Workshop for precision and electric engineering" on the first floor of a tucked away building in Stuttgart (Ryan, 2015).
He began with the first low-voltage ignition system everyday using motorbikes in 1897, but this actually has shown its importance in 1902 when he added the spark plug.
In 1932, Bosch acquired the hot water systems manufacturer and moved into the home industry by producing appliances.
Bosch believed in the spirit of entrepreneurial independence and social service. quoting that “he would rather lose money than trust.” In other words, he would rather lose his profits than losing his customer's trust.
In 1942, Robert Bosch passed away as a result of an infection gone wrong, but the company continued his legitimacy. Eventually, you can read more history on their website.
